WeForming project

The WeForming project is an EU-funded project that aims to revolutionize energy management and transform buildings from passive consumers into strategic players in forming the energy networks of the future.

The WeForming approach focuses on Intelligent Grid-Forming Buildings (iGFBs), structures equipped with smart technologies and designed to actively contribute to an interoperable greener energy ecosystem, encompassing networks and markets. The project promotes the establishment and adoption of iGFBs in cities and communities, optimizes building energy efficiency and self-sufficiency, shapes a secure, resilient and carbon-free energy ecosystems and promotes involvement of all relevant stakeholders in the energy-building value chain.

In the project, argovolt is one of technical partners and an orchestrator of the Croatian pilot at the island of Krk.
